College Avenue remodeling continues

Aren't you glad you got to see workers preparing to pave this sidewalk in October and November and now the finished product coming soon?

Rainwater that falls on this intersection flows west down Dickson Street, enters storm drains near West Avenue and the railroad and flows underground to flow out of the tunnel under Center Street as the Tanglewood Branch, which flows southeastward just west of the new Fayetteville Public Library and the Frisco Trail and under the Martin Luther King Boulevard and then southwest of the Farm Coop and then under South School Avenue at about Ninth Street and then east to join the Spout Spring Branch along the west side of Walker Park and then south under Fifteenth Street to the Town Branch of the West Fork of the White River. It flows into Beaver Lake to become Northwest Arkansas drinking water and the remainder goes to Missouri and back to Arkansas and then into the Mississippi River at Big Island. Your paper plastic drinking cup or other debris may end up drifting past New Orleans and then into the Gulf of Mexico.
