Storm-debris information from the city

A little more detail about storm clean up.

Storm debris can be taken to a few sites around town. All removal assistance information and site instructions are available HERE: Fayetteville storm-help information online

The transportation department is considering bringing roll-off dumpsters or something to an area within a neighborhood and letting volunteers, city staff and neighbors put debris in those to be taken to the dump sites.
A lot of the details will be worked out depending on the needs of the neighborhood.

Also, the parks department asks that anyone interested in helping clean up a park contact them first. This is because some parks may still have areas that could be a safety hazard and they want to prevent anyone getting injured. You can contact Lisa Netherland, Horticulturist & Volunteer Coordinator for Fayetteville Parks and Recreation - Phone: 479-444-3467

Thank you,
Julie
