Please click on image to enlarge.

The Cato Springs Branch is behind the treeline at the far edge of the park. The water on the surface of the park is backed up from the confluence of the Cato Springs Branch and the west arm of the Town Branch of the West Fork of the White River. The two streams join to the left and flow east to join the main Town Branch about three blocks west of South School Avenue. The main Town Branch which flows southeast from the University of Arkansas campus through the Town Branch Neighborhood between Hill Avenue/Ellis Avenue and South Duncan Avenue/South Van Buren Avenue and under Eleventh Street and Fifteenth Street before being joined by the water from the west just west of the Salvation Army store.
