The sparse landscaping is in keeping with tough economic times.
Nobody has to worry about homeless people setting up camps there now.
That is one helluvan expensive parking lot.
I suppose that Dan granted them a conditional use permit so they don't have to comply with the tree planting required by ordinance.
If only they had been required to bury all SouthPass plans in the hole, not to be brought up until the hotel was back on track...then this paving would make some sense.
