We are destroyed. BR, that is. The city, no ALL of S La, is virtually completely w/o power and will be that way for days to weeks. This storm is the worst in memory for the state due to the wide area affected. Thousands of trees are down here; thousands are homeless due to wind and tree damage.
Cocodrie is probably only a memory now.
The Mother of All Storms has overtaken Betsy (1965) as the worst storm ever in S. La.
BR and most of the state S of I-10 is w/o power.

We, and kids are OK in that regard.
We will probably go to Jackson (Lil) for a while.
