Government channel tech staff member on vacation but station gets back on schedule at about 9:15 a.m. by "forcing" system to comply

According to Ric at the Government Channel, the staff member who handles the complex automated operating system went on vacation before the storm hit and was not available to deal with the problems caused by Hurrican Ike. Monday morning, the workers on hand got instructions, apparently from the manufacturer, on how to "force" the system back online and put it back on schedule as soon as possible. That explains why the mayoral debate was cut off in the middle and a recycycling discussion at last week's environmental concerns committee began at its assigned time.
Government Channel program schedule for Sunday September 14 through the coming Saturday September 24
