Invitation to join American Businesses for Clean Energy

I'm working with American Businesses for Clean Energy on increasing the representation of businesses from Arkansas in the national group of businesses standing for clean-energy legislation.
I was hoping that you could post something to your blog telling your readers about ABCE and encouraging them to join ABCE if they own their own business or know someone with shared values who does. It's vital for Congress to know now that America's business community supports their efforts to do what's best for the country and the planet.
As you know, the US Chamber of Commerce, republicans and other corporate interests are doing their best to kill or cripple any climate or energy legislation that acknowledges the reality of climate change and seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They are trying to give the impression that all of America's business community is against any legislation that seeks to help the environment, reduce global warming and help the US make the move to a clean-energy economy.
So American Businesses for Clean Energy (ABCE) has gathered a coalition of over 2,400 businesses of all types and sizes to push back on the Chamber and support Congress' efforts to pass strong climate and clean energy legislation that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and promotes green, clean, sustainable energy production in the US.
ABCE is a place where any kind of business — from members like GAP Inc. and Warner Music Group to small local businesses from Al's Painting in Ann Arbor, MI, to Zoey's Pizza in Manchester, NH — can let Congress know that there are thousands of American businesses that support strong climate and clean-energy legislation. Joining ABCE is also a great opportunity to tell potential customers which businesses are willing to be leaders in their communities by supporting a cleaner, more sustainable future. There are no dues, no meetings and no further obligations for firms that only want to be listed. ABCE does not develop or evaluate specific policy proposals, nor will ABCE lobby Congress.
