AEP SWEPCO's Asplundh contractors are coming to your neighborhood, if you have any trees within 30 feet of the power lines, kiss them goodbye

Please click on images to ENLARGE view of trees being destroyed far from power lines in the Town Branch Neighborhood of south Fayetteville, Arkansas, on December 1, 2010. Better photograph your trees now. The destructive activity is unpredictable and unstoppable. So much for Fayetteville's effort to certify hundreds of private yards and parks as urban wildlife habitat. Thousands of squirrels, birds, tree-dependent butterflies and moths and other living things will lose their habitat, while your summer electricity bill will rise because of lack of shade and nothing will slow the winter wind before it hits your house. Gotta love the logic of this. Asplundh's Web site touts destruction of mature trees as a career goal.
