School-board member invites people to support millage effort. But wanting the school improved doesn't mean everyone wants the millage increase

Supporters of the new Fayetteville High School,

The millage campaign for the new Fayetteville High School kicks off tomorrow, July 7 at
11:30 in the Bulldog Lobby at FHS. Having a large number of people at the announcement
would be a very positive show of support for the campaign. Your presence would be greatly
appreciated.

You're right. I don't know anybody who will vote for it.
Did you read the chart in the paper about what the millage would cost our few remaining large industries. They all have been laying off or firing people. How many more jobs would they eliminate to cover the rise in taxes?

Aginners ain't invited, apparently. Show up with a sign saying NO to millage increase and see how long it takes for a cop to show up.
Oh, no. BOOBYNU is gone. Maybe it is safe to exercise your right to free speech now.
