Dredging machine remains buried in muddy pond site at Beverly Manor Apartments a day after a fire that destroyed several of the apartments
Please click on images to ENLARGE view of Track digger stuck in mud a day after it apparently struck a natural-gas line that may have been the cause of an explosion and fire in the adjacent apartment complex. The trackhoe was dredging silt out of a pond that has for decades harbored a flock of various kinds of waterfowl. A backhoe/loader was attempting to pull the tracked vehicle out of the mud at the site at the intersection of University Avenue and Center Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Friday morning March 13, 2009.
