Aubrey, if Lionel-D is so proactive in implementing sustainability in Fayetteville, why has he squandered the past 8 years on the City Council and his service on the Street Committee by not implementing, nay even considering, sustainable stormwater alternatives to the traditional "biggest pipe" engineering? Why have the claimed "green" philosophies of the City Council not manifested themselves as policy throughout city departments? Why is it such a struggle to permit a LID project in the City? Why does the City's stormwater manual not allow provisions for alternative/sustainable stormwater? I would contend that Lionel-D has not done anything to support the rhetoric of "sustainability" that he has adopted throughout his campaign. You have been duped into being Lionel-D's lackey.
