I don't live in your neighborhood but I used to hike through those woods. Can I come to your meeting?
I can't believe they ae considering passing this student-apartment project. The owner should be required to bring back good soil and plant trees and donate it as a nature park. Your description of this land before it was cleared is accurate. It was a dream to have this kind of near-wilderness within a mile of my house.
