Pictures from March 28, 2004, show overflow area east of Town Brannch that needs to be restored before any other work begins on Hill Place apartments

Please click on image to ENLARGE 2004 photo of Town Branch swamp before it was bulldozed, dredged and filled for Aspen Ridge townhouse project. It was a natural overflow area for the Town Branch, but the water flowing there in these photos was water than came from springs on the property and runoff from Hill Avenue when storms occurred. Three small streamlets combined to form the slough shown here. The area's soil was damp even in the driest of times.
