Bluets: Houstonia caerulea a native wildflower that colors open mowed land in late winter

Please click on individual image to ENLARGE. Sorry I didn't have time to turn around and try to follow the tiger swallowtail butterfly I saw fly across South College Avenue on Saturday, March 10, 2012, in order to photograph it. But it was a pleasant surprise so early in the year.
