The morning news reports that Bisbee named director of NW Arkansas Mobility Authority

Good luck getting open meetings. Isn't this the guy who was elected County Judge and said it was OK for two aldermen to meet and talk about county business?
If there ever was any sunshine on Northwest Arkansas' real rulers when they met, this ends it. Instead of wearing dark sunglasses, reporters will need those yellow shooting glasses that light up the target. The mobility authority probably will ask for an FOIA request just to allow a reporter or resident of the two counties to enter the meeting room. Don't dare to ask a question.
This director may may make previous director Jerry Hunton look like Mr. Sunshine.

Bisbee Slated To Lead Mobility Authority

By THE MORNING NEWS
FAYETTEVILLE — Benton County Judge-elect David Bisbee of Rogers was recommended as the next director of the newly formed Northwest Arkansas Regional Mobility Authority by the group’s nominating committee members. Their recommendation would have to be approved by the full board to take effect. The board is scheduled to meet Dec. 8.

The mobility authority would make proposals to local city and county governments for highway projects but has no taxing authority of its own.
