Video of the Mayor's town-hall meeting may be available later today from the Fayetteville Television Center. Broadcast times and dates on Cox Cable and AT&T U-verse have not been announced, but complete-meeting DVDs are free to residents of Fayetteville. New information about a legislative discussion open to the public was provided during the town-hall meeting by State Sen. Sue Madison.
Senator Madison said this morning that a date and time and site for the legislative hearing will be set soon and that the meeting should occur before the end of June.
Such public meetings on proposed projects that affect historic public places are required by law.
