Didn't Eva Klein hear about the fact that no new landfills can be created anywhere near Fayetteville? Where would the garbage for a million people go?

Why would someone propose turning the magnificent Northwest Arkansas mountains and prairies into a city of millions without even understanding its geology?

Where in that article does it say anything about transforming the Ozarks into a city of millions?

It doesn't.

You are opposed to any and all economic development, period.

Save the bandwidth. Type out:

"I, Aubrey Shepherd, do not want another single thing built or redeveloped in the city of Fayetteville, period."

That sums up your opinions.

Say Aubrey, why not give up your house? Afterall, it was once natural, un-developed land. You are hurting the environment by living there.

Why don't you go live in a cave in Madison County?

No, you give yourself a cozy little exception on your living space, yet you rant and protest every time someone dare suggest that other human beings be allowed to build homes in Fayetteville.

You are not helping increase the quality of life in this city.

If you attended all of Eva Klein's meetings or watched them the many times they were run on government channel, you heard her talk about building a huge regional city of millions.
I repeat that she doesn't consider the terrain when advocating her rapid growth process.
Why don't you get a sustainable job?: Setting your hopes for wealth on mindless growth isn't improving quality of life here. You could ENGINEER some repair work on existing houses and help some people stay afloat and continue to do the basic jobs that you expect someone to do.

There isn't "mindless growth" in this city. You're thinking of Springdale. They are the ones who "need" your help.

Show us one example of development that you approve of, then you'll get the benefit of doubt afforded other objective, thinking people.

Actually, I have written about or commented on only a few projects in the past 40 years. You might notice that I haven't commented on the majority at all.
Your generalization is faulty.

Instead of ragging me for defending healthy habitat for people and other living things, why don't you work up a plan for disposing of garbage economically and harmlessly.

Northwest Arkansas doesn't have that capability and may never, unless some young genius comes up with a plan.
