REGISTRATION EXTENDED FOR THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL WEBCAST
It's not too late!! Due to the fact that the ESC webcast will include late breaking
news about the new EPA effluent limitation guidelines for construction activities,

Be sure to join the Center and guest speakers Jesse Pritts from the US EPA (the
expert on the new guidelines) and John Kosco from Tetra Tech (Phase 2 MS4 construction
permit guru) to talk about recent EPA rules and guidelines that will impact the
upcoming Construction General Permit program renewal process for states and influence
how local governments regulate the construction permitting process.
About the Webcast:
The erosion and sediment control (ESC) program is a fundamental water quality initiative
that has been around in many parts of the country for decades. Managing runoff from
an active construction site while construction equipment is literally moving the
ground under your feet has presented continuing challenges for the regulator and
regulated communities. This webcast will begin by highlighting the latest EPA rulemaking:
Final Effluent Guidelines for the Construction and Development Industry, and provide
a detailed overview of how the federal, state, and local permit implementation programs
are designed to work. The webcast will also discuss state and local strategies for
training, plan review, inspection, and enforcement that have been successful at
improving on-site compliance.
