Aubrey James Shepherd's unique view from Fayetteville, Arkansas
Friday, July 5, 2013
Was this the worst Independence Day in Fayetteville? Seemed that way to the adult, hardworking people in my neighborhood. No sleep possible until after 1 a.m. and even now there is no guarantee someone won't set off a blast of some kind in the neighborhood. Time to 'do a study of regulations in progressive states and cities where firework sale, possession or use is totally outlawed. Fireworks are NOT patriotic and the sales tax from their sale isn't worth the pain to law-abiding taxpaying residents
Midnight-30 blast over a city-owned park from adjacent rental property.
