Professor Kimberly G. Smith shares invitation to Fund Your Farmers event to support efforts to grow food locally

Hi… The Ozark Slow Food chapter will be having a fund raiser, Fund Your Farmers, Sunday 21 July from 5-7 at the Greenhouse Grille.  The Slow Food group encourages the use of locally-grown food and proceeds from this fund-raiser will go to the micro-grant program we have for farmers in northwest Arkansas.

 Food will be prepared by 5 local chefs and music will be by 3 Penny Acre.  There will also be a silent auction and cash bar.  Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at http://www.ozarkslowfood.org/
