Tanglewood Branch riparian zone narrow to nonexistent because of paved or graveled parking on both sides

More riparian-zone photos from Tanglewood Branch added at bottom of Streamside protection site on Flickr

Please click on image below to ENLARGE view of machinery moving debris from the demolition of the grain elevator adjacent to the old rail line on the CO-OP property where the former railroad turned north across MLK Jr. Blvd. to join the existing railroad near Dickson Street. The Frisco Trail uses the right of way of the former rail line from MLK to Center Street and joins the Scull Creek Trail north of Maple Street.

The existing short portion of Tsa-La-Gi Trail from the Town Branch Trestle through the Hill Place Apartment Complex needs to follow the rail line east from South Hill Avenue  to Government Street and through industrial property to cross the old trestle over the Tanglewood Branch to the CO-OP property to join the Frisco Trail at MLK Jr. Blvd.
