Aubrey, I remember that you have mentioned a previous similar project in the past, which also was done by the Fayetteville Natural Heritage Association and focused on areas that should be protected from development as nature areas. You sounded frustrated on those occasions that city planners have IGNORED what FNHA produced and hasn't chosen to make it clear to developers that these areas are off-limits.
You need to step up to get the city council to agree that such an effort will get proper respect and be used in zoning and in approval of specific plans.

Coody will continue to promote growth at any cost and ignore the suggestions to protect sensitive areas as long as he is in power.

Several members of Fayetteville Natural Heritage have expressed support for Dan despite his pro-develop-at-any-cost stance and his having chosen too ignore the FNHA proposal.
He probably figures he needs only a few from each group he has treated like yard dogs in order to win. Dan don't need no thinking folk. Just folla thu masta!
