Karen McSpadden is now her name, and she is providing some wonderful leadership in the effort to make Fayetteville grow in a sustainable fashion by organizing the Green Drinks gathering once a month at Smilin' Jacks near Dickson Street. People from all walks of life gather there to discuss their vision for the city and to share entrepreneurial ideas and planning suggestions.
It makes for better discussion between developers and conservationists than only meeting in front of the planning commission or the city council.
Karen is also enrolled in graduate school at the University of Arkansas.
She would be a good speaker to invite to a civic, church or neighborhood meeting.
