Why have so many huge trees been removed during the past two years from a wetland, probably floodplain lot just north of City Lumber? Many wildflowers were scattered through the woods there when it was a storage site for stones

I went by to see those big trees but they must have been hauled away. Somebody is trying to plan a development without having any trees to protect. The joke may be on them, because the aerial photos show that as heavily wooded.
